Fujitsu and Panasonic join forces in the production of semiconductors04.06.2019
Back in October of last year, plans were announced INCJ Japanese government investment corporation to reform national manufacturer Renesas Semiconductor, which along with other crippled economic crisis. According to the news agency the NHK , in March 2014 Fujitsu and Panasonic are going to combine its System LSI division, to jointly develop and produce chips for consumer electronics sector. Financing of the transaction will be partly provided by the Japanese state bank. Further investment in a joint venture with the Japanese authorities can achieve in the amount of several hundred million dollars.
It is expected that Fujitsu and Panasonic will also cooperate in the field of System LSI with Taiwan's TSMC. Obviously, developed by Japanese engineers chips will be manufactured by TSMC as "subsistence farming" in the present conditions of the Japanese economy itself completely discredited.
